A day to immerse, experience and integrate

An Immersive Day offers more time and space to enter into the Dreamwave experience.

Across the day, we move between direct experience, pauses, exploration and learning, creating opportunities to notice what is changing within and to witness how different parts of the experience connect.

The intention is to create enough spacefor the day to respond to what is present.

The day as a journey

10:00

Arrive & open

We gather together, arrive in the space and introduce the day.

10:30

First Dreamwave experience

A first facilitated sound journey creates space to enter the experience and notice what is present.

12:30

Pause

Time to rest, eat, walk, connect or simply allow the experience to settle.

14:00

Explore & learn

A shared exploration into a topic connected to the experience and the wider fields that inform Dreamwave.

15:30

Second Dreamwave experience

Returning to the experience with the awareness and questions that have emerged throughout the day.

17:00

Share & close

Time to come back together, reflect, share and integrate.

The times can change depending on the location.

We create these days to give space to experience and witness the change felt inside while immersing more fully in the process.

Moving through more than one experience allows time for something to emerge, settle, shift or become clearer, and for the second experience to meet what has already unfolded.

The space between the sessions matters too. Pausing, sharing, learning and simply being together become part of the journey.

Science & emergence

Explore & learn

Throughout the day, we bring in perspectives from a range of scientific and experiential domains to deepen our understanding of what we encounter.

Topics may include

Body & nervous system

  • nervous-system activity
  • sympathetic & parasympathetic activity
  • body rhythms
  • embodiment

Brain, mind & perception

  • brain activity & brainwaves
  • perception & attention
  • learning & neuroplasticity
  • sound & sensory experience

States & integration

  • sleep & wakefulness
  • states of consciousness
  • expanded states of consciousness
  • integration

The topics change from one Immersive Day to another. The learning portion is not a fixed curriculum: a short exploration may open a window into the science, theories and questions connected to the experience, while the lived experience remains at the centre.

What emerges shapes the day

While each Immersive Day has a carefully considered structure, the content remains responsive. We pay attention to what emerges within the group and allow this to inform what we explore together.

Sometimes a question, experience, dynamic or theme that arises during the day becomes the starting point for an exploration we create on the spot.

This allows each Immersive Day to remain alive, relevant and connected to the people who are actually there.
